    Practical Guidance Legal Content Editor

    About the Role

    • In this role, you will develop, remediate, copyedit, and maintain written content for US Practical Guidance.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, own, and execute the content maintenance strategy for the U.S. Business Entities practice area.
    • Conduct legal research and perform editorial work to update and maintain existing Practical Guidance content.
    • Monitor legal developments and maintain ongoing awareness of changes in applicable laws.
    • Draft, review, and update Practical Guidance materials, including templates, practice notes, and checklists.
    • Lead and deliver Practical Guidance content remediation initiatives aimed at enhancing the customer experience.
    • Develop a strong understanding of editorial workflows and style guidelines, and consistently apply and enforce best practices.
    • Enhance operational efficiency by standardizing and streamlining processes, creating clear documentation, and recommending continuous improvements to editorial workflows.
    • Consistently meet or exceed established production and quality standards.
    • Participate in required training and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification, admission as an attorney, and a minimum of two years’ post-qualification legal practice experience.
    • Excellent command of the English language, with strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear written and oral communication, a positive attitude, and a professional demeanor when engaging routinely with geographically diverse authors, colleagues, and customers.
    • Strong organizational skills; self-motivated with demonstrated initiative and a growth mindset.
    • Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in order to meet critical deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to changing business demands.
    • Strong technical aptitude with a demonstrated interest in Generative AI technologies.
    • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Copilot.
