    Pre-mix Team Leader - Eloff

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 1 year working experience in Animal Feed Production Unit

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Preparing and weighing of pre-mix addition
    • Ensure accurate weighing of the correct product according to the formula
    • Conduct visual check on pre-mix quality (colour & texture)
    • Ensure that the stock sheet is up to date  
    • Conduct daily scale checks and ensure that the register is up to date           
    • Issue premixes to be weighed
    • Supervise the premix preparation process
    • Preparing of pre-mix addition
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and the correct wearing of PPE.
    • Ensure that the work area and machinery/equipment is clean

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

    • Knowledge of premix preparation
    • Knowledge of Feed Milling equipment technology
    • Knowledge of micro raw materials
    • Able to do manual labour for long periods of time
    • Accuracy/attention to detail
    • Good reading and writing Skills
    • Numerical skills
    • Planning and organizing skills
    • Stress and crisis management
