Pre-Sales Engineer- Networking at Altron Bytes Systems Integration

Job Function:

• Ability to provide the full Pre-Sales lifecycle engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to Architect and Design Network technology solutions with leading OEM partners like Cisco, Forti, Aruba, Dell etc.
• Work with the team to understand the technical requirements and goals of the clients and propose a solution that is aligned to best practices and fit for purpose.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, routing, switching and wireless providing the ability to propose an end to end solution.
• Create detailed technical solution write-ups and diagrams regarding the proposed solution and articulate this to the customer and internal teams.
• Scope the implementation effort required for executing a proposed solution.
• Work with our OEM partners and distribution channel resources to scope and propose solutions.
• Provide mentorship for the technical resources who are part of the operations and project teams.
• Provide a technical advisory role on Datacenter network implementations by providing guidance to the implementation team.
• Assist with analyzing technical Due Diligence assessments for clients and provide recommendations to improve and bring value to the customer.
• Agile thinking and ability to adapt to various industry requirements based on fit for purpose solutions which in turn brings value to the client.
• Provide Pre-sales / Consulting activities for the account managers and the Pre-Sales Manager. Take full ownership of engaging with the practice leads and technical resources 

Education Required:

• Matric
• Diploma / Degree in the IT field or relevant working experience
• CompTIA N+
• CCNA - R&S
• CCNP - R&S
• OEM specific product knowledge and certifications

Experience Required:

• A minimum of 6 – 8 years relevant work experience in a Pre-Sales / Solutions Architect / Senior Network Engineer role.
• A minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience with public cloud networking and connectivity options.
• Solid experience working with Cisco solutions – Switching, Routing, Security, Wireless, Voice
• Experience working on Enterprise Datacentre solutions and proposals.
• Solid experience in Microsoft private and public cloud solutions.
• Experience working in a corporate environment.
