Requirements: 

• No criminal record
• Firearm proficiency
• High level of responsibility.
• Ability to give attention to detail.
• Good communication, human relations and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to understand, write and speak Afrikaans and English.
• Appropriate level of secondary education required to perform the job duties effectively.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications)

Qualification: 

• Grade 12

Experience: 

• 1-2 years relevant experience in a policing or security environment

Job Purpose: 

• The securing and safeguarding of councillors, staff, visitors and property to ensure safety when entering and exiting through monitoring movement within the buildings by regular signing of the access register.
