Principal Power Systems Engineer at Jacobs

We are inviting applicants from candidates interested in relocating to Australia or New Zealand. You'll have the choice to work from a range of Jacobs Australia or New Zealand office locations, we offer flexible work options and hope to find someone with the following skills and experience: 

• Extensive in depth understanding of power system issues and demonstrated experience in power system studies. 
• Ability to oversee the development and delivery of client projects with a particular focus on power system analysis, including network connections, application of regulatory requirements, network planning and compliance and reliability analysis. 
• Effective communicator and collaborator, with the aptitude to articulate the technical direction of proposal development. 
• Experience and ability to lead studies in various power system software packages such as PSCAD or PSS/E. 
• A tertiary degree in a related electrical engineering field. 
• Interest or experience in team management is preferred for New Zealand. 
• Desire to relocate to Australia or New Zealand, please note typically Jacobs would support a 4 year work visa for suitably qualified applicants.
