Principal Specialist - Cyber Security Program Delivery
The Principal Specialist - Cyber Security Program Delivery will be responsible for overseeing all project Business Cases where the Business Cases will be presented to the Head of Cyber Security for investment approval. You will be responsible for supporting PM’s with all submissions into the Fit4Growth board where required, as well as working closely with Supply Chain Management to drive efficiencies through vendor negotiations. You will oversee all project Steering Committee meetings, as chaired by the Project Managers, supporting them to raise timely escalations wherever required. You will also play a pivotal role in the departments long range planning activities, developing Principal Specialist - Cyber Security’s 3 to 5 year strategy, as a well as helping to set the departmental objectives / KPI’s which the delivery programme will help achieve. You will need to work collaboratively with Senior Stakeholders within Vodacom Group, building relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the Security portfolio for Vodacom Group.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Essential
5+ years of relevant professional experience
10 years experience in leading cyber and Cyber Security related programs
Deep knowledge and understanding technical security controls
In-depth knowledge of and experience in security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, risk management, incident management, threat management, etc
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Strong analytical skills, combined with business judgment and ability to communicate with all levels of management
The ability to be an effective team player
Strategy & Planning skills
Strong business and financial acumen
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Experience of project initiation, planning and governance
SC cleared / ability to gain SC clearance
