Job Profile Summary

The Senior Principle Solutions Architect works with colleagues and learns how to analyse and provide solutions on aspects of application software, process management and related technology components. They assist with the execution of the best design for information technology architectures. Their primary objective is to learn the processes that derive optimal functioning of an entity’s IT application software and infrastructure by assisting with the outlining of solution architecture descriptions within an assigned domain/industry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing value-stream and product aligned solution architecture including business process management to support the rapid design, delivery, and improvement of digital products for Technical & Consulting Services value streams
• Embed a capability where products are designed and architected with the user experience at its heart-driven from a customer journey and service perspective for Technical & Consulting Services value stream
• Ensure solutions are designed in line with the Global OpCo Enterprise Architecture roadmaps, aligned to appropriate best practices, standards and methodologies for Technology & Consulting Services value stream
• Support Business Owner & Product Management teams to identify the value of products being delivered in the context of the product roadmaps for Technical & Consulting Services value streams
• Act as the escalation route for technical delivery issues, and support technical conversations with senior business stakeholders in Technical & Consulting Services value stream
• Implement, maintain & monitor standards, controls, processes and solutions to minimize business and IT risk, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements and standards for Technical & Consulting Services value stream

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Strong understanding of the technical & consulting services value-streams and digital products
• Thorough working knowledge of solution design, architecture industry standards, and business analysis
• Strong familiarity with quality management concepts and their application

• Excellent communication and relationship mgmt.
• Relentless focus on process optimisation by leveraging multiple tools, including: technology, lean, automation, sourcing, etc.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor Degree in either computer science, information technology, software 
• engineering  or related field

Required Experience:

• Greater than 7 years’ experience in solution architecture
• Understanding of consulting services processes and supporting applications i.e. Jira,  
• Snow, Changepoint
