Process Leader at Syndicate Personnel Specialists

Introduction

A client, a leading JSE listed company within the Plastics manufacturing industry has a challenging opportunity for a seasoned qualified Artisan to join their Plant in Johannesburg. Your people management skills will be required to effectively lead and manage a team of mechanical & electrical artisans in the delivery of safety, process reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the operations, settings, process and construction of their Blow Moulding and Injection Moulding machines.  
• Continuous improvement of process reliability and preventive maintenance systems
• Manage mould cooling systems, changeover systems and SMED techniques.

You must be a qualified artisan with at least 8 to 12 years plastic machine processes experience in a plastics manufacturing environment. Strong Trouble shooting and Root cause analysis experience is also required.
