Purpose Of The Job:

To be the continuous improvement driver of the Metallurgical process through reporting on and analysing production performance, making recommendations and implementing projects in a safe manner.

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT, RISK, QUALITY AND COMMUNITY

• Manage SHEQ compliance within the Section through effective use of the Toolbox
• Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ related matters

BUSINESS PROCESSES

Process Reliability:

• Update Process Strategy
• Implement Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) findings

Process Management:

• Achieve process budget

CMMS:

• Update GSAP Master Data
• Report process measures

Project Management:

• Implement improvement projects

Growth:

• Manage Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence

Shareholder Value:

• Monitor and control section costs

Requirements

• Metallurgical or Chemical/Process Engineering Degree/Diploma
• A Qualification of a full University Degree (4 year) will be advantageous
• Pyrometallurgy as elective subject will be advantageous
• 4 years relevant experience
• Experience in the FeCr or Pyrometallurgy environment will be advantageous
