    Procurement Buyer - Intern

    Description

    • To administer the purchasing module in delivering a cost effective, timely and valued added purchasing function to Bayport Financial Services SA, whilst building and maintaining effective and open communication to stakeholders ensuring they are well informed and updated on their respective procurement requests.
    •  Manage all aspects of procurement in a professional and ethical manner with due regards to total acquisition cost, delivery, quality, continuous improvement, and cost reduction.

    Requirements
    EDUCATION

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • National Certificate in Supply Chain or Purchasing Management NQF Level 5, or,
    • NQF Level 5 related 

    CERTIFICATIONS AND TRAINING COURSES

    • Computer Literacy
    • Excell proficient

    EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

    INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

    • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
    • Knowledge of finance/ procurement process flows

    DESIRED/ PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

    • Good communication skills
    • Meeting customers' expectations
    • Flexibility in meeting customers changing needs
    • Deliver reliable information on time
