Procurement Contracting Specialist

Requirements:
- University Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years relevant experience
Responsibilities:
- Enable benefits/ value release through the delivery of a water-tight and cost-effective contracting capability.
- Reduce contract management costs.
- Prepare sourcing plans, negotiate, and administer all contracts within a portfolio in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
- Implement effective methods to maximize on-contract spend within the category.
- Prepare regular reports regarding contract status, compliance and modifications/amendments.
- Respond to complex enquiries regarding contract terms and conditions, and contract processing requirements and guidelines.
- Ensure that robust contract management and review processes and procedures are in place to manage and mitigate risk in the organisation.
- Ensure end users are trained in and honour the contract terms and conditions as stipulated in the agreement.
- Monitor and address supplier performance issues.
