Procurement Management System Manager - HQ Bryanston at The South African Breweries (SAB)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the ProMS program in the Africa Zone
• Africa Zone ProMS subject matter expert and provide guidance to Zone Teams
• Coordinate ProMS for the Zone, working with all Pillar owners to ensure an integrated One Supply Chain implementation and improvement process.
• Lead the Zone 1 and 3 year plan to achieve targets for ProMS
• Lead the ownership of the ProMS Pillars and ensure Pillar Owner Compliance to the Management System Requirement
• Evaluate pillar opportunities and Gaps and effectively PMO solutions with the teams to close identified gaps and opportunities s
• Facilitate and Conduct Training Sessions on ProMS Pillars and Problem Solving and ensure ProMS Capability across the teams
• Provide visibility and progress plans to Global and Zone Leadership on Zone ProMS targets and outcomes
• Lead and evaluate the team sessions on ProMS and provide feedback to managers on effectiveness
• Actively participate and critique Zone Procurement daily, weekly and monthly routines and ensure ProMS standards are fully implemented and sustained.
• Support Procurement Function achievement of KPI’s and ProMS results
• Verify KPI results and lead the visibility of the results in the Zone
• Support KPI training / education at all levels
• Lead sustainability of the ProMS (Procurement Management System) pillars within the Zone as measured by Global Auditing Criteria
• Planning and leading the self-assessments and following up on action plans
• Leading effectively and ensuring that Global standards have been implemented in the Zone and effectively translates within the Team

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in Alco-Bev Industry experience is required
• Bachelor’s degree in business Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering, Hons is preferable
• Knowledge and/or experience in Project Management with cross functional teams
• Knowledge or Experience of Problem-Solving Techniques such as Belts, 5Why, etc.
