Job Description

• Facilitate user experience into the design of products and services and design interfaces to effectively communicate the brand and enrich the customer’s experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling visual artifacts (UI layouts, interface elements, prototypes, high-level storyboards, mock-ups, wireframes etc.) to effectively communicate UI and UX needs.
• Develop and maintain design elements, mock-ups, and specifications as needed
• Research the latest visual design, UI and interaction concepts, presentation layer technologies, digital best practices, online trends, and provide recommendations for improvements
• Custodian for developing visual, UI and interaction design assets to be adopted within design system
• ConductingbestpracticeresearchtodevelopandimproveUIandinteractiondesign to solve end user problems effectively.
• Formulate testing parameters to effectively assess user experience
• Conductcompetitorresearchtodevelopandimprovefeaturesofproductsandtobalance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to solve user problems effectively
• Understand scope, requirements, and drive innovative solutions aligned with business goals and UX metrics

Additional Information

Requirements/Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, User Experience (UX), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• A design-related certification or training would be a plus.

Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or a related role.
• Proven experience in designing wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Experience working with design systems and maintaining visual/UI assets.
• Hands-on experience with user testing and research, including competitor research.
• Strong experience in conducting user research to develop and improve interaction design and solve user problems.

Skills:

• Design Tools: Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), InVision, and other prototyping tools.
• UI/UX: Strong understanding of interaction design principles, user-centered design, and usability best practices.
• Prototyping: Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes and mockups to communicate UI and UX needs.
• Research: Ability to conduct best practice and competitor research to improve features and solve end user problems.
• Testing: Experience in formulating testing parameters to assess user experience and usability.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for rapid prototyping would be a plus.
• Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design decisions.
• Experience in healthcare-related product design or digital products with a focus on solving complex user problems.
