Manage the Product Development and Analytical development teams
Providing guidance, coaching and mentorship to foster a collaborative and high performing environment
Ensure that the development of new products takes place and support the reformulation of existing products
Support production initiatives like process improvement projects to improve the manufacturing process of existing products
Ensure that the required analytical development is completed for all new products, new raw materials, existing product reformulations, and process improvement projects
Ensure compliance with all company policies and ensure that the laboratories are run per GLP and safety principles including those about HACCP, cGMP, and GLP
Manage the Analytical and Stability Services Portfolio
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in product development to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Drafting and managing the annual Product Development budget
Requirements
MSc Chemistry or equivalent, preferably PhD.
5 years' experience in Product Development in the Pharmaceutical Industry
5 years of managerial experience leading teams or companies
Extensive experience in analytical method validation, stability testing criteria and formulation development experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Excellent project management skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
