Product Manager – Payments at Salt South Africa

The Role

• You’ll own the payments integrations layer – connecting merchants, gateways, and financial systems.

What you’ll do

• Define and drive the integrations roadmap (APIs, plugins, gateways)
• Improve transaction success rates and onboarding speed
• Identify and solve integration friction using data and insights
• Lead delivery with engineering and manage external partners (PSPs/gateways)
• Own performance, reliability, and uptime of integrations

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years Product Management experience
• Strong background in payments, APIs, or platform products
• Understanding of payment ecosystems and integrations
• Commercially aware and data-driven
• Comfortable working closely with engineers and stakeholders
