Product Manager at Salt South Africa

• As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll own the full product lifecycle for critical trading and execution platforms. You’ll translate market, customer, and technology insights into a clear product vision, turning strategy into a focused, outcome-driven roadmap.
• You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams to deliver products that are robust, scalable, and commercially valuable, while continuously evolving them in line with user needs and market dynamics.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Defining and owning product vision and strategy aligned to business goals
• Researching market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
• Building, prioritising, and maintaining a clear product roadmap
• Leading end-to-end product delivery from discovery through to launch and iteration
• Acting as the central point of contact for product-related decisions and communication
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to manage priorities, risks, and trade-offs
• Using data and KPIs to measure impact and drive continuous improvement
• Supporting and mentoring others, helping to foster a strong product culture

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years’ experience in Product Management within complex, technology-driven environments
• Strong experience working across the full product lifecycle
• A strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution ability
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of Agile product development
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience using product tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
• Exposure to financial markets or trading environments is advantageous
