Product Manager – Traded Portfolio at AECI Limited

Job Description

• Manage product ranges within the traded portfolio
• Liaise with Suppliers both internationally and locally on all product related matters.
• Source and grow product offering for customers
• Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing with suppliers
• Determine selling prices on portfolios product range
• Manager stock levels effectively and procure in accordance with forecast and working capital requirements
• Must be prepared to travel
• Provide regular summaries and analyses of product and market trends, stock movement, profit trends, threats and opportunities

Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

Matric or Equivalent

• Tertiary Qualification of a chemical Nature will be preferred
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in Management and sales
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ technical experience in the chemicals industry
• Must have experience in managing foreign suppliers and principles
