    Product Marketer (SADAC)

    About the Role

    •  Are you a strategic and creative marketer who thrives at the intersection of product development, sales, and regional market strategy? We are looking for a seasoned Product Marketer to drive market adoption and commercial success of our innovative products. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product development, sales, and marketing teams to define compelling product positioning, craft engaging messaging, and execute robust go-to-market strategies — with a special focus on localization, digital adoption, and B2B growth across key African regions.

    Responsibilities

    Go-to-Market Strategy 

    • Product Launch Leadership: Spearhead the launch of new products and features by coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless market entry. 
    • Implementation Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of go-to-market plans, ensuring effective integration across departments. 

    Positioning and Messaging 

    • Message Crafting: Develop and refine core messaging, value propositions, and compelling narratives that resonate with diverse target audiences. 
    • Brand Storytelling: Create narratives that support the product's value and differentiate our offerings in competitive markets. 

    Market Research & Intelligence 

    • Customer Insight: Analyze customer needs and market trends to inform strategic decision-making. 
    • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activity and evolving market dynamics to keep our product strategies ahead of the curve. 

    Sales Enablement 

    • Marketing Collateral: Produce impactful marketing collateral, presentations, and sales tools such as case studies and battlecards. 
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales teams to ensure alignment between product marketing and sales strategies. 

    Content & Campaigns 

    • Campaign Development: Create and implement campaigns that drive brand awareness, demand generation, and engagement. 
    • Digital Marketing: Utilize digital channels, including social media, content marketing, and SEO, to enhance brand presence. 

    Performance Analysis 

    • KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators such as lead generation, customer retention, satisfaction, and loyalty. 
    • Data-driven Insights: Leverage data from CRM platforms and analytics dashboards to refine strategies and improve performance. 

    Requirements

    Localization & Market Fit 

    • Regional Expertise: Proven experience in adapting global product marketing messages to resonate with diverse audiences across African regions, particularly in SADC and West Africa. 
    • Cultural Adaptation: Ability to tailor strategies that effectively address localized market nuances. 

    Digital Transformation 

    • Digital Savvy: Demonstrated ability to leverage a variety of digital channels to build brand visibility and engagement. 
    • Innovative Channel Use: Experience in integrating traditional and digital marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and growth. 

    Industry Focus & Technical Skills 

    • Sector Experience: Strong background in the SaaS and B2B technical sectors. 
    • Data Interpretation: Proficient in using CRM and analytics dashboards to inform product positioning and marketing strategies. 

    Collaboration & Communication 

    • Team Player: Ability to work seamlessly with sales, product, and regional strategy teams. 
    • Content Creation: Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills. 
    • Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee multi-channel campaigns and product launches. 
    • Experience: Ideally, 5–10+ years in marketing, with 3–5+ years specifically in product marketing, brand management, or business development. 
    • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with the ability to manage and interpret complex data.
