You as a Product Marketing & Sales graduate will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Modderfontein, Gauteng, South Africa. Securing sustainable transformer service profitable growth. Making sure the sales teams look after the whole sales funnel from the activation of the related quotation and bid and proposal and tendering stage to price setting in full coordination with the WCFE organization with the objective of speeding up the decision-making process and price decisions. This role is also instrumental for multi-TRES unit bids and cross-hub tenders’ coordination and responsible for pulling in from the TRES units application engineering teams and technical knowledge to influence technically specs when there is still no RFQ; Responsible for service promotion in APMEA in coordination with the Hub team and Business unit.

General Sales & Marketing work focuses on a combination including face-to-face and or remote sales to new or existing customers.
Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, or solutions.
Planning, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy for products or services and associated brands.
Evaluating, measuring, and managing the product and brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, return-on-investment, etc.
Incumbents in this specialization may also provide customer service and supporting in the form of information on product and price and resolution to issues relating to billing, shipping, delivery, complaints, etc. and matching to this specialization are compensated based on achievement of sales targets.

Your background
A bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in a marketing and/or sales.
An understanding of the energy market as served by Hitachi Energy is preferred.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
