    Product Specialist

    • Our client, a leading player in the agricultural machinery space is seeking an experienced candidate for the role of Product Specialist, to join their East London based team. 

    Minimum Skills and Requirements: 

    • Completed Matric
    • BCom General, Business Management or similar qualification - a must 
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Previous experience in the agricultural industry would be high advantageous to the role
    • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)
    • A valid drivers' license is essential 
    • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail 
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
    • Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently
    • Proactive and self-motivated
    • Patient, calm and tolerant in challenging situations

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to;

    •  Provide effective technical and operational support to dealers, ensuring timely resolution of product‑related queries and issues
    • Conduct diagnostics and fault finding on agricultural machinery, identifying problems and recommending appropriate solutions
    • Support the sales and dealer teams during machine demonstrations, product training sessions, and customer handovers
    • Assist with the commissioning and handover of machines, ensuring customers receive clear product explanations and usage guidance
    • Act as a technical liaison between dealers, sales staff, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution
    • Maintain accurate administrative records, reports, and documentation related to product support and dealer interactions
    • Provide basic product and demo training to dealers and internal staff when required
    • Support after‑sales activities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Assist with ad hoc operational and administrative tasks as assigned by management
