Product (UX/UI) Designer at Sanlam Group

What will you do?

• As a UX/UI Designer, you will play an integral part in multi-disciplinary teams to help deliver new apps and websites and enhance existing ones, end-to-end. Your role will be pivotal in defining and guiding key UX principles, best practices, and strategic aims to ensure that designs meet business specifications, goals, and customer expectations.

Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree, 3-year diploma, or equivalent qualification in design

Experience and Skills

• 5+ years’ experience in product design (UX & UI)
• Experience in the financial services or loyalty & rewards industry preferred
• Figma
• Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Expertise in wireframing, journey mapping, UI design, UX design, responsive design and prototyping
• Proficiency in using design tools with speed and quality
• Experience in conducting user research and user testing and capturing insights using qualitative and quantitative methods
• Knowledge of user-centered design processes and practices to develop new products and services
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Curiosity about technology and its impact on design solutions
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work well within a team and independently
• Self-starter with strong planning and self-management skills
• Resilient, adaptable, and a fast learner
