    Production Execution Specialist: (RGB and Canning)

    Job Description    

    • Ensure line installations for the specific pack type deliver optimal results for our supply chain, with specific reference to minimizing waste, high quality and efficiency.
    • Drive the successful execution of new product launches by ensuring production/ technical readiness. NPD gatekeeper to ensure lines are capable of  producing new products or use changed raw materials.
    • Ensure line performance to meet our production demand on time to meet customer demand.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Education

    • Bachelors’ degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
    • Certification in Production Management, advantageous

    Experience

    • 5-8 years of experience in a production or manufacturing operations role within the FMCG, beverage or bottling sector
    • Proven expertise in high-speed production environments with complex processes
    • Familiarity with high-speed production lines and automated systems
    • Experience managing multi-site production operations
    • Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement techniques. 

    General    
    Operational Efficiency and Performance

    • Conduct line assessments across all our plants to identify gaps against benchmark installations. Work closely with asset owners and plant technical teams to close technical gaps
    • Review and update best work practices across all lines and ensure implementation.
    • Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste, minimize downtime, and enhance line efficiency.
    • Ensure implementation of maintenance strategy across all plants

    Continuous Improvement and Innovation

    • Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives for production lines.
    • Identify and implement automation or digital tools to improve production execution and data visibility.
    • Develop innovative solutions to enhance process control, reduce cycle times, and improve overall efficiency.
    • Ensure that best practices are shared and embedded across all production sites within the business.

    Cost Control and Resource Optimisation

    • Deliver sustained reductions in cost per unit (CPU) through improved resource utilization and efficiency gains.
    • Manage initiatives with plant teams to improve raw material yields, reduce waste and improve inventory control.
    • Ensure adherence to budget targets for production costs, labor, and maintenance activities.
    • Optimize energy and utility usage to align with sustainability targets.

    Capability Development & Talent Management 

    • Identify capability gaps across all our lines and work close with L&D and plant teams to close gaps. Support the introduction of Technical Operators for all our lines, taking on maintenance tasks. Based on benchmarks , ensure optimal manning on all lines supporting productivity

    Quality and Safety Compliance

    • Check compliance to quality standards and quality routines.
    • Check compliance to safety standards
    • Achieve and sustain high performance in safety audits, incident reporting and quality audits.

    Data-Driven Decision-Making

    • Implementation of line monitoring systems (Line view)
    • Develop actionable insights from performance data to improve productivity and reduce costs.
    • Establish clear KPIs that align with business objectives and track progress consistently.
