What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Production Manager II to join our dynamic team. The role is physically located in Bethlehem reporting to the Plant Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible to manages the various production activities of the Manufacturing Unit through subordinate supervisors and controllers in order to achieve planned production targets and to ensure the effective use of available resources. The Production Manager will be responsible for the formulation of the production programme and plant maintenance schedules, capital projects, managing and controlling product quality assurance as well as leading the production processes and optimising raw material stock levels. Some key activities will also include optimising people, plant, machinery, and equipment while ensuring that the safety, health & hygiene portfolio is maintained.

Qualifications

What will qualify you for the role

• 5 years relevant experience within the manufacturing environment
• Degree and/or Diploma in Production Management or similar qualification
• Ability to manage a team
• Business planning skills
• Advanced Computer skills including SAP and MS Office
• Project management skills
• Advanced Milling Certificate essential
• Must have a wheat millng
• Any type of Production manager course would be beneficial background
