Production Manager (Synthesis Plant) at Chemical Process Technologies

Description

• Manage the end to end Operational Planning and Scheduling
• Provide input into the Operations Strategy
• Accountable for the performance of the synthesis plants
• Ensure Production Targets are met
• Management of Service Level Agreements
• Manage the Operational Budget for the formulation plants
• Monitor all KPI's and ensure adherence to the quality and safety standards
• Monitor and proactively manage operational efficiencies by streamlining processes, integrate workflow etc
• Resource Planning to deliver on production targets
• Ensure availability of raw materials/stock
• Trouble-shooting to ensure maximum production output
• Manage the performance of the supervisors
• Training and Coaching

Requirements

• Honours Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• At least 3 years' experience as a Production Manager in a chemical manufacturing environment
• At least 3 years' People Management experience
• Experience in the implementation of safety standards and systems
• Experience in handling of hazardous chemicals
