Produce Monthly Production Plan with dates in line with service level agreement and communicate with Sales Team and Procurement Team for raw material call offs.
Create weekly/daily production Schedule as per planning methodology for specific production plan to ensure that customer requirements are met.
Track daily actual production vs plan/schedule, and report if there are any deviations.
Create required Production Order on SAP system as per production plan per spec.
Monitor WIP material on daily basis to eliminate over or under production.
Schedule reworks as when required.
Stock allocation and batch assignments on SAP system as when required.
Monitor and check backorder report on regular basis.
Keep senior management informed of monthly progress of production vs targets.
Communicate with Sales on regular basis for any query or update required.
Compile daily / weekly and monthly reports timeously as required by management.
Work closely and assist other Production Planners and Despatch Planner as when required.
Comply with Company Policy and Procedures.
Minimum Qualification Diploma or Certificate in Planning / Supply Chain or related studies.
Added Qualification BCom in SCM or related Qualification.
General work experience (years): 2 years
Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 4 years + within a Production Planning environment.
