Production Planner - Nederburg at Distell

The Role

• Applications are invited for the above mentioned position to be based at the Paarl Cluster, Nederburg. The successful applicant will report to the Planning Procurement & Logistics Manager.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and optimise production planning at Nederburg
• Ensure stock availability to meet local and export demands
• Optimise stock levels and bottling line capacities
• Manage the vintage bottling planning process at Nederburg
• Interact with relevant stakeholders
• Perform the relevant administration, verification and reporting functions

The Successful Candidate Must Have The Following Experience/skills

• At least 3 years’ experience in a Production Planning/MRP environment
• Tertiary qualifications in planning/logistics/supply chain
• Sound knowledge of supply chain concepts
• Experience in a SAP R3/R4 environment (including APO)
• Proven computer literacy (Excel)
• Ability to work under pressure and to work independently & accurately.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities
• Ability to influence others outside his/her own sphere of control
