    Professional Nurse Grade 1 - 3 positions

    Reference Number : refs/019779
    Requirements :

    •  Basic R425 qualification Diploma/ Degree in nursing with midwifery or equivalent qualification that allows registration as a professional Nurse.
    • Current registration with SANC as a professional Nurse.
    • Candidate must have good communication skill both verbal and written, must be able to work under pressure in a changing environment, candidate must be able to work independently with good interpersonal skills.

    Duties :

    •  Demonstrate understanding of nursing legislation, related legal and ethical nursing practices.
    • Perform a clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standard as determined by the relevant health facility.
    • Promote quality of nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards as determined by relevant health facility.
    • Demonstrate and effective communication with patients, Supervisors, and other Clinicians, including report writing when required.
    • Work as part of multi-disciplinary team to ensure good nursing care.
    • Work effectively, cooperatively amicably with persons of diverse intellectual, culture, racial, religious differences.
    • Able to plan and organize own work and to support personnel to ensure proper nursing care.
    • Display a concern for patients, promoting and advocating proper treatment and care including awareness and willingness to respond to patient needs, requirements, and expectations, you will be expected to rotate to various departments and work shifts (weekends and public holidays)
