Professor / Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer in Marketing Management at Stellenbosch University

Duties    

• Teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in marketing management;
• Supervision of postgraduate students;
• Participating in Departmental, Faculty and University activities;
• Self-initiated research.

Job Requirements

• For Senior Lecturer:
• A PhD in marketing management;
• Subject knowledge of the sub-discipline of digital marketing;
• Extensive lecturing experience in marketing management modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
• The ability to supervise postgraduate students;
• A record of research published in accredited scholarly journals.

For Associate Professor:

• A PhD in marketing management;
• Subject knowledge of the sub-discipline of digital marketing;
• Extensive lecturing experience in marketing management modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
• The ability to supervise postgraduate students;
• A record of research published in accredited scholarly journals 
• At least a C rating by the NRF.

For Professor:

• A PhD in marketing management;
• Subject knowledge of the sub-discipline of digital marketing;
• Extensive lecturing experience in marketing management modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
• The ability to supervise postgraduate students;
• An extensive record of research published in accredited, high quality international scholarly journals;
• At least a C rating by the NRF.

Recommendation        

• A record of scholarly publications in accredited subject journals;
• Practical industry experience in a marketing-related environment;
• Ability to teach English;
• Knowledgable about emerging markets.
