Project Coordinator (EVDS and Data Manamegent) - Gauteng at Right to Care

• We are hiring Project Coordinator (EVDS & Data Management) to be responsible for routine validation including data quality audits and verifications, supervision of data capturers, support to DOH Provincial and District Information Management Team and implementation of all health information systems as defined by the National Department of Health (NDoH) including data analytics.

KEY PERFORMANCE

• Oversee the Data Quality Mentors in the Integration TA teams.
• Ensure all nurses and data capturers are trained on EVDS
• Ensure the correct application of EVDS credentials at the facility level – including password management
• Identify and support the reduction in paper-based vaccinations
• Support the back capture of vaccinations
• Support the training on undocumented citizens
• Monitor daily performance and report back to the facility, sub-district, and district
• Responsible for routine validation including data quality audits and verifications, supervision of data capturers, support to DOH Provincial and District Information Management Team and implementation of all health information systems as defined by the National Department of Health (NDoH) including data analytics.
• Oversee the Data Quality Mentors
• Offering constant feedback to staff and keeping everyone in sync
• Ensuring adequate staff performance
• Keeping staff morale high and taking steps to improve retention
• Managing staff schedules and assigning individual responsibilities
• Ensuring workforce is satisfied in their roles

Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12
• Trained on EVDS data capturing;
• A Diploma/ Degree
• Qualification and/or experience with data capturing
• Experience working with EVDS and the COVID-19 vaccination programme in Gauteng;
• 2 years’ experience in implementing Health Programmes.
• 2 years’ experience in clinical program supervision, Monitoring & Evaluation, report writing and presentations at District or Sub District Levels.

Desirable Required Qualifications and Experience

• Data Quality diploma or degree
• Diploma/Degree in Social Sciences/Information Management, Statistics or Epidemiology with proven extensive work experience in working With the Department of Health (DoH).
• At least 4 years’ experience in systems design, management and analysis
• 4 years’ experience in implementing Health Programmes.
• 4 years’ experience in clinical program management, Monitoring & Evaluation, report writing and presentations at District or Sub District
• 4 years of operations management experience, including managing projects, people, and finance
• Experience in the COVID-19 vaccination programme.
