Project Director
Responsibilities:
The Project Director will be the primary point of contact with funder with regards to day‐to‐day activity implementation and management matters relating to the project. The Project Director will have overall responsibility for assuring that all assistance provided under the award is technically sound and appropriate for the needs to be addressed and for adequately managing and supervising the work of all field staff, long‐term staff, short‐term staff, consortium partners, and/or sub‐partners, as proposed.
Program activities may include: multi-stakeholder workshops on prioritization of needs and development of action plans, learning and research activities, data analysis and use to inform improvement and decision making, strengthening quality assurance and improvement systems, organizational and institutional capacity and system performance assessments, capacity and systems strengthening technical assistance, leadership and management capacity strengthening, grant making to local partners, development of guidelines and tools, technical assistance for the development of national policies and strategies, and technical and material assistance to support implementation of national strategies. This position will oversee the entire project team and will report to an FHI 360 Regional Director based in South Africa.

Technical Director
Responsibilities:
The Technical Director will support and advise the Project Director and other project staff on various technical fields related to the program (e.g. RMNCAH, health systems strengthening, policy reform and implementation) and help design the strategies and approaches to achieve expected results. The Technical Director will provide strategic technical direction and oversight for the development, coordination, and implementation of complex and diverse sets of interventions to produce the project’s expected outcomes. S/he will ensure that the project provides high-quality capacity building processes and solutions. S/he will report to the Project Director and supervise a team of technical advisors and officers providing cross-cutting support to the project’s technical assistance and systems strengthening activities. S/he will collaborate closely with the MEL Director (particularly on designing and implementing project learning and adaptive management strategies and approaches), and the program, grants, and finance and operations teams.
