A well-regarded construction group based in Johannesburg is looking for an ambitious and capable Project Manager / Contracts Manager to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a construction professional in the early-to-mid stage of their career who is ready to step up, take ownership, and make a real impact across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Requirements:
A relevant degree or diploma in construction management, quantity surveying, civil or building science — or equivalent practical experience
Approximately 5 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with demonstrable project and team management exposure
Proven experience managing professional consultant teams as well as construction and site teams
Working knowledge of the JBCC contract suite and subcontractor appointment contracts — and the ability to administer them confidently
Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects from inception through to close-out
Lead and coordinate professional consultant teams including architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors
Oversee and direct construction teams and subcontractors on site to ensure programme and quality targets are met
