The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing custom and business projects delivered by a cross functional team with the primary function to ensure delivery as per required specifications, deadlines, and budget, on both new and existing client projects and internal business projects.
They are highly knowledgeable and technically proficient team member. They possess a wide variety of skills and knowledge to manage complex and varied tasks, and they act in a supervisory capacity coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day work and assignments of a group of team members. They are responsible for planning, executing and supervising team members tasks and assignments, reviewing progress and evaluating results to ensure that the team meets its deadlines and deliverables.
Requirements
Qualification
Suitable Tertiary Degree/Diploma or Relevant Certification in a Project Management, Commerce or IT related field
Certification in a Project Management [PMP or Prince certification; Programme Management certification (PGMP)] will be advantageous
Experience
6 - 8 years IT technology and systems development life cycle experience with 2-3 (or more) years project implementation experience essential
Experience in a Project Management capacity working with high to complex projects
Relevant experience within a data centric environment would be advantageous
General understanding of application programming, database, systems design, architecture and infrastructure

Highly proficient in the use of a project management tool such as MS Projects, JIRA, ClickUp, Monday.com etc.
Knowledge and understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies
Software Development Lifecycle Knowledge
Able to navigate complexity with the ability to develop logical solutions to fit situations and expectations and/or follow specifications
Solid understanding of Project Management Principles
Ability to learn and adapt to change in a high paced rapidly changing environment
Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and deliverables
