4-year tertiary qualification or 3-year degree with Honours, preferably in the specific science disciplines of genetics, bioinformatics, data science and/or molecular biology.
2-3 years of relevant experience coordinating/ managing multi-stakeholder projects preferably within an Omics workflow and research environment and preferably with experience in data and grant/project management.
Advantageous:
MSc Genetics, Bioinformatics, Data Science and/or Molecular Biology with relevant knowledge obtained in the field
Experience in a public funding research environment and/or industry, preferably managing Omics projects and/or workflows
Demonstrated experience managing grants for a funder or at a research organization as a project manager of multiple grants with reporting to different funders
Experience in Genomics/ Bioinformatics with knowledge on working with databases and handling complex genomic data in various formats
Experience in contracts management and program budgets
Demonstrated experience in working across academia, government departments and industry
