Project Manager/Shut Down Coordinator at COENG Consulting and Construction Engineers

About the job

• The project manager and shutdown coordinator shall demonstrate experience in project management and execution. The function of the Project Manager is to provide the necessary leadership to management, financial management, planning, scheduling and execution in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner

Responsibilities

•  The Project Manager shall be responsible for implementing shutdown strategy and putting a system which addresses the requirements outlined in project description.
•   The Project Manager shall work with a dedicated Scheduler, who will be responsible for developing the Shutdown schedule, updating the schedule during shutdown and register delays during shutdown.
•  The Project Manager shall be responsible for putting an action plan to address delays experienced during shutdown.

Minimum Requirements

• BSc Engineering degree or related qualification
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• 10 years relevant experience
• Must be professionally registered as a a Professional Engineer (PrEng)
• Must be professionally registered as a Professional Project Manager (PMP)
