Project Manager at TFG (The Foschini Group)

Key outputs of the role:

• Gathering, validating & documenting requirements for tariff overlay savings: 
• Extract electricity meter readings from either invoice from municipalities or usage reports from landlords.
• Obtain current tariff rates from the electricity providers
• Calculate the total electricity consumption (kwh) for each billing period
• Compare the total cost based on the tariff rates received from the service provider vs what TFG is billed for 
• Submit billing and store detail to a 3rd party for billing overlay work (this involves consumption and optimal tariff verification)
• Where anomalies are identified, support the 3rd party in liaising with the property team and landlords and or municipalities in obtaining refunds on behalf of TFG
• Analyse data from 3rd party service provider and identify stores with high demand charges or inefficient usage patterns.
• Recommend actions to address issues by liaising with Stores operations
• Identifying cost saving opportunities from reducing inefficient electricity consumption: 

Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering with a Project Management qualification and /or PMI certification
• 3-5 years relevant experience 
• Proven proficiency in an industry recognised Project Management Methodology 
• Proven hands-on experience in managing small to medium projects 
• Proven experience in Retail
• Experience in remotely managing retail projects across a wide diversity of geographical locations 
• Experience of managing projects in an IT desktop or infrastructure environment
