    Projects Intern

    Minimum Requirements

    • Final year student in the engineering sciences or Undergraduate engineering degree.
    • Proficiency with English as a medium of communication.
    • No minimum work experience is required.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Supports Technical investigations, gathers and analyses data.

    • Gather and analyse process data related to manufacturing processes and equipment.
    • Troubleshoot, make assessments, complete calculations, develop solutions.
    • Works with others to prepare relevant documentation, i.e. URS, SOPs, validation protocols and reports.

    Supports project planning, execution and delivery.

    • Attend project and team meetings, documenting actions and tracking progress as needed.
    • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project tasks to ensure timely and efficient execution under supervision.
    • Support equipment installations and qualifications by coordinating resources, documenting activities, and ensuring GMP compliance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data, analyse performance, and implement process improvements effectively.

    Supports plant equipment commissioning and maintenance activities.

    • Assists the Engineering team with scheduled as well as unscheduled activities.
    • Assist in preparing and executing equipment commissioning protocols and related documentation.
    • Troubleshoot, make assessments, complete calculations, develop solutions to resolve equipment issues and optimize performance.

    Complies with Good Manufacturing Procedures and other relevant legislation, i.e. OHSAct.

    • Works with others to ensure manufacturing Engineering SOP’s are up-to-date.
    • Participates in validation studies as required.
    • Works in a safe manner and assists others to do the same.
    • Ensure that appropriate PPE is worn.
    • Reports non-conformances, SHE issues, and breakdowns to senior team members.
    • Act as Safety Rep, Evacuation Team Leader or First-Aider as required.
