Purpose Statement

• To identify and address the legal, practical and commercial risks and requirements in lease agreements for branches and Campus buildings

Experience
Minimum:

• At least 1-3 years’ experience in a legal environment in retail or property as a qualified attorney.
• Negotiation of contractual terms  

Ideal:

• Similar experience in leasing within a property and / or project management environment  

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Bachelor's Degree in Law

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Masters Degree in Law

Knowledge
Minimum:

• Law of Contracts, specifically lease agreements  
• Commercial know how (business acumen, how organisations work)

Ideal:

• Retail leasing knowledge

• Attention to Detail
• Communications Skills
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
• Interpersonal & Relationship management Skills
• Negotiation skills
