Property Accounts Assistant

• We are currently recruiting for a Property Accounts Assistant to join our client’s team in City Centre, Cape Town, that specialises in property development. The ideal candidate must come with 1+ years of experience in an administrative financial role.
• The candidate will serve as a key contributor in maintaining financial records, overseeing accounts receivable and payable processes whilst collaborate closely with the accounting team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Relevant financial or accounting qualification.
• Advantageous: Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
• 1+ years’ experience in a financial support role.
• Accounting Software experience (e.g., Sage, Xero).

 Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare invoices, receipts, and other essential documentation to support financial transactions.
• Process and manage accounts payable and receivable related to property dealings.
• Communicate effectively with tenants, clients, and vendors to address financial matters.
• Maintain accurate financial records through data entry and ledger reconciliation.
• Assist in budgeting and financial reporting for property projects.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial statements.
