    Property Finance Business Partner - Claremont

    Job description

    Your Duties and Responsibilities...

    • Continually seek process efficiencies to identify, minimize and eliminate “manual” or labour intensive processes;
    •  As part of the finance, review and authorise outgoing payments to suppliers, members and staff when required.
    • Continually review, design and implement processes within property management and payments, that ensure are adequate controls and systems exist that prevent or detect errors / invalid payments, supported by a seamlessly integrated or automated business and systems end to end process flow;
    • Provide monthly commentary on rent variances;
    • Prepare the 5YP rent submission plan;
    • Ensure that monthly rental payments as per the rental contracts agree to signed or amended lease agreements;
    • Continually work with BI team to improve the end user experience and support the needs of business stakeholders through the production of meaningful property reporting;
    • Preparation and maintenance of IFRS 16 lease liability and right of use asset calculations;
    • Ensure that proper reconciliation of balances due per landlord statements to amounts paid is performed and that all property related unpaid expenses actually incurred are appropriately accrued for where necessary;
    • Ensure that rental payments are correctly adjusted on finalization of TI Allowances;
    • Review back-dated rates escalations and ensure these are properly calculated and charged;
    • Support the national property asset manager with the annual rent and rates budget;
    • Support internal business stakeholders and specifically the national property asset manager with the analysis and forecast of property related expenses;
