    Audit Coordination Manager - Johannesburg

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Coordination of Audit Teams:

    • Coordinate and manage audit teams located across various African countries, primarily English-speaking regions.
    • Ensure efficient allocation of resources and responsibilities among team members.
    • Monitor the progress of audit engagements and provide support as needed to ensure timely completion.

    Liaison with Central/Group Auditors:

    • Collaborate with central auditors to align audit strategies, objectives, and reporting requirements.
    • Communicate any deviations from audit plans and seek guidance as necessary.
    • Act as a bridge between central and regional audit teams.

    Compliance and Deadlines:

    • Ensure adherence to audit instructions, methodologies, and quality standards.
    • Monitor and track audit deadlines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Address any issues or challenges that may affect audit timelines proactively.

    Client Communication:

    • Maintain open and transparent communication with client management throughout the audit process.
    • Report audit progress, findings, and conclusions to client stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

    Business Development:

    • Respond to audit requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential clients with compelling and competitive proposals.
    • Identify and evaluate new potential clients in the market who align with our service offerings and capabilities.
    • Promote our audit capacities and value proposition to potential clients through presentations, meetings, and networking opportunities.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or related field.
    • CA (SA) / Completed SAICA Articles or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an international audit firm, with exposure to international group audits.
    • Proficiency in both English and French is essential for effective communication.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    Technical Manager - Century City Cape Town

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supporting Development of Risk Management Policies and Processes: This duty emphasizes the employee's role in actively contributing to the enhancement of risk management frameworks within the organisation, ensuring alignment with enterprise and quality risks.

    • Knowledge of POPIA not required but will be advantageous in assessing a candidate
    • Demonstrable experience in compliance management
    • Ability to work in stressful conditions and under tight deadlines
    • Ability to effectively manage decentralized projects
    • Ability to manage projects or allocated portions of projects independently
    • Strong project management skills
    • Attention to detail and the ability to critically evaluate the application of legislation and standards

    IT Audit Trainee (Data Analytics) - Johannesburg, Century City Cape Town

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
    • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
    • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
    • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
    • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
    • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
    • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

    Minimum Requirements

    • A minimum 3 year post matric qualification (Quantitative or IT subjects are advantageous)
    • Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation technique
    • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages databases (SQL)
    • Strong SQL scripting and database management
    • Strong Excel skills (VBA Excel is advantageous)

    IT Audit Trainee (General Control Review) - Johannesburg

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Execute the IT General Controls Review, IT Governance Reviews, Business Continuity and Cyber Security.
    • Preliminary reviews of systems, and process walkthroughs.
    • Documentation and flowcharting of business processes and systems
    • Identify risks as input into business risk identification process
    • Execution of IS audit engagements as agreed with the Senior IS Auditor /IS Audit Manager Manager/
    • Provides feedback to Senior IT Auditors, Managers at audit debriefs or when required to do so, escalates problems to the manager promptly
    • Manages audit relationships’
    • Provide technical expertise and advice on Information Technology and understand IT security-related issues and requirements.
    • Responsible for deliverables and feedback to Senior IT Auditors , Managers; and
    • Attends and participate in kick-off meetings and wrap up meetings as and when requested.
    • Prepare audit files with standard information
    • Execute audit programs and record work done
    • Prepare and audit findings and recommendations to address root cause of audit findings
