Purchaser Service Solutions- Johannesburg (ZA) at Vestas

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Service Solutions Purchaser (Cranes, Maintenance and Repair related topics) to join the team.
Your responsibilities will cover: 

•    Define and implement, together with the global team, the South Africa Service Solutions category strategy.
•    Support regional activities running RFQ's for Service Solutions​ (stakeholder management, supplier selection, contract preparation and negotiation)
•    Support MED sales team on finding subcontractors in new Markets
•     Ensure that suppliers are supporting Vestas goals in terms of cost, sustainability, delivery, quality and safety.
•     Lead Supplier relationship and performance management.
•     Work in collaboration with the team members to ensure RPO targets are achieved

Qualifications

• We are looking for an effective procurement professional, ideally with a proven history of a similar category.
• Bachelor/diploma or Master's degree in the field of (or related to) Supply Chain Management (either Business or Engineering) is required.
• Experience of 4 years in Procurement. 
• Highly proficient in English, written and verbally and ideally in French and Arabic. Other languages will be highly valuated (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian...).
