• Implement effective negotiation strategies to close deals with the best possible purchase prices.
• Lead and partake in strategic sourcing activities from supply chain to fixed costs of the business.
• Prepare the annual Purchasing budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.
• Update and manage procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration.

Skills:

• Energetic and change / improvement focused.
• Flexible, active and forward thinking.
• Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
• Must possess management and leadership skills with emphasis on leading and motivating staff.
• Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail

Experience:

• Experience in a Managerial role - 5 years
• Previous automotive experience will be an advantage - 0 year
