QA Automated Testing Developer | Tygervalley, Bellville, Western Cape at PSG Konsult Ltd

Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Design

• Analyse requirements and specifications to design comprehensive test plans.
• Define test cases, scenarios, and scripts for functional and non-functional testing.

Test Execution

• Perform manual and/or automated testing of applications.
• Execute various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, integration, usability, performance).

Defect Identification & Reporting

• Log and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues.

Collaboration

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Communicate test results and feedback to stakeholders and development teams.

Test Automation (when required)

• Use automation tools such as Postman, Selenium, or TestComplete, for repetitive tests.

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant degree, diploma in IT
• Familiarity with software testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman).
• Experience in automation testing
