RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop comprehensive test cases (manual and automated) and perform result analysis to ensure quality standards are met.
• Take ownership of QA processes for assigned project teams, driving excellence in testing and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Senior QA Engineers to craft effective strategies and robust test plans.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain seamless system performance.
• Conduct thorough post-release and post-implementation testing to validate solution quality and stability.
• Interpret and execute moderately complex test scripts, ensuring thorough coverage and accuracy.
• Enhance the maturity of test cases and test packs, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Review and analyze system specifications to identify potential quality risks and coverage gaps.
• Define requirements for test environments, data, resources, and tools, and design reusable test scripts for efficient testing cycles.

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant IT Tertiary Qualification
• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Qualification
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• 2-5 years testing experience 
• 0-2 years of Automation experience 
• Previous experience working within a Fintech/Retail, Payments or Banking environment is preferred 
• API Testing experience (must have)
• Experience using API tools like POSTMAN, JMETER, RAPID API, SoapUI, REST- assured, Catalon Studio,Apigee
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience using Linux 
• Automation testing experience 
• Have experience of working with enterprise-scale application stacks
• Have had exposure to the full software development lifecycle 

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficiency in database queries
• Familiarity of programming script languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
• Excellent analytical skills
