QPC Technician at Saint-Gobain

Why do we need you ?

• Overseeing laboratory to ensure adherence to iso 9001 and continuous Improvement.
• Ensure efficient service of the laboratory to production.
• Investigate and report any deviation on results obtained and conduct problem solving.
• Manage plant trials for the site.
• You will also be required to perform additional functions or work in other areas as required by the Process Technologist, Process Engineer provided it is a safe and reasonable request. 

Is this job for you ?

• The ideal candidate must have a National Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. With 2-3 years within Laboratory environment, WCM experience for internal applicants. This role calls for a person who is good at communication, and project management experience will be advantageous.

To make sure nothing is forgotten

• The role’s objective is to assist the QPC Team in development and improvement of Quality control and process improvements using the tools within the FI & Q&PC Pillars linking through to step Zero of WCM (World Class manufacturing). Your primary objective will be to assist the QPC by supporting roll out of QPC activities and quality & process improvements at site. To undertake these tasks in an efficient safe manner meeting with H&S legislation, company policy and Managers rules.
