Quality Controller Supervisor - Cato Ridge at Omnia (Pty) LTD

Overview    

The Quality controller (Supervisor) will be responsible for managing the quality activities in the production environment. They will also be responsible for interaction between other admin departments, workshop and production. Bag labelling managing packaging and labelling. Assist with SHEQ responsibilities, issuing clearances and getting Induction completed.

Qualifications    

• Matric or equivalent

Experience    

• Previous experience in similar environment, would be advantageous

Duties    

Samples storage control

• Bag weights
• Accurate info on printing of bag labels
• QC complaints & faults
• Preparation for next shift
• Confirm boms with factory manager
• Labels and bags needed for production

Other requirements:

• Ordering of bag stocks (stock control) 
• Issuing P.P.E (dust mask etc.)
• Issuing clearances
• Housekeeping & safety checks
• Site inductions
• Technical ability (blender operation)
