Quality Manager at Vital Health Foods

Responsibilities:

• Be involved in the establishment of policies and procedures
• Ensure that the Quality Management System (QMS) is regularly reviewed and updated
• Conduct internal, external and third party audits, compile corrective action plans and follow up on completion
• Manage and investigate non-conformances
• Ensure corrective action/recommendations are coordinated and implemented in consultation with stakeholders
• Compile monthly reports and reports of audits
• Review customer QC requirements and ensure that QC documentation meets requirements
• Conduct statistical analysis of QC data and report on trends
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement in consultation with stakeholders
• Ability to evaluate data and identify issues, recommend, own and drive performance improvement areas for internal and external customers
• Manage quality department and budget control.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Food Technology
• Sound knowledge of BRC food safety requirements
• Minimum 5 years quality management in a food manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a FMCG environment
