Quality Specialist at Smith & Nephew

What will you be doing?

The role forms part of the Quality Division and is responsible for responsible for the Quality Management System throughout South Africa & West Sub-Saharan Africa, headquartered in South Africa.. This role reports to the Quality and Regulatory Manager.

What will you need to be successful?

• Experience with the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System as per requirements of ISO 13485.
• Experience with document control and record management, in addition to complaint handling and coordination of Quality Holds & Recalls, and other daily Quality activities.
• Experience in leading the internal audit programme and is responsible for CAPA management.

Successful candidates would need the following:

• Two years’ experience in quality management, preferably in medical devices
• Proven track record to consistently achieve regulatory and quality requirements.
• Experience in conducting audits and CAPA management.
