    Quality Team Manager

    Role Summary:

    • Leading the Stamping Plant Quality Team.

    Position Details:
    General

    • Setting measurable departmental objectives to achieve customer requirements —SQDCPME (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance, Environment)
    • Determine process needs, resource needs and the necessary competence levels required.
    • Any reasonable task that may be assigned to you

     
    Safety

    • Ensure that a safe and clean work environment is maintained

     
    Quality

    • Fist Time Trough objective (Process performance and product conformity)
    • Effective Preventive actions initiatives
    • Corrective action results  
    • System changes---Document and Record Control / Change management
    • Product identification, preservation and inventory control
    • Control of monitoring and measuring equipment
    • Rework control and acceptance criteria

     
    Delivery

    • Supporting On time delivery targets
    • Ford Production System (FPS) implementation and maintenance

     
    Cost

    • Budget Control and accountability
    • Cost reduction initiatives
    • Overtime Control
    • Rework and Scrap cost

     
    People

    • Employee motivation and empowerment initiatives
    • Required to Operate (RTO) / manning control
    • Establish trained needs and ensure that effective training is provided
    • Attendance control
    • Communication / Cadence adherence

     
    Maintenance

    • Ensuring the proper working condition of equipment
    • Support planned maintenance activities

     
    Environment

    • Ensure that Environmental Aspects and Impacts are effectively controlled    

    Performance Measures:

    Budget control

    • Annual process efficiency improvement objectives
    • Achieving Overall Equipment Effectiveness objective

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Quality Management - IATF 16949 knowledge and experience
    • Environmental Management - ISO 14001 knowledge and experience
    • Knowledge in applicable Statutory and Regulatory requirement

     
    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Min. National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical or Industrial Engineering
    • 3 Years’ experience in Automotive industry
    • 3 Years Quality and Process leadership experience
