RPO Recruitment’s client, a respected Building & Civil Contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town team on one of their latest projects as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates and project cost reports.
Monitor project costs and assist with cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and payment certificates.
Price and administer variation orders and contract claims.
Assist with cash flow forecasting and commercial reporting.
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
Ensure commercial compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
Requirements:
National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
Experience with cost control, valuations, subcontractor administration and variation orders.
Knowledge of payment certificates, cost reporting and final accounts.
Valid driver's licence (essential).
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
